(May 14, 2008)

Race Report filed by Bissell Pro Cycling Team

Ben Jacques-Maynes wins the Mt. Hood opening prologue, and the BISSELL Pro Cycling Team has 4 in the top ten.  After coming off a very impressive Gila, BISSELL did it again today. This 1.6 mile event was perfectly suited for Ben where he smashed the next placed rider by 3 seconds. Ben scorched the course cranking it out in his biggest gear, a 54x11. He completing the race in a 2.46 blink-of-an-eye and averaged 36.86 mph..Teddy King finished in 4th place, Aaron Olson in 5th place, and Jeremy Vennell in 8th place.

Ben wore the leader's jersey for three days last year, and he doesn't plan on surrendering it this year. The team is looking forward to Wednesday’s Mt. Tabor Criterium.
