Sevilla Rocks The Reading Classic

Reading, PA - Oscar Sevilla of Rock Racing soloed away from three breakaway companions in the final six miles Thursday to win the Commerce Bank Reading Classic.

Sevilla launched a vicious attack on the third and final trip up the challenging switchback climb of Mt. Penn, leaving behind a pair of riders from Team Type 1, Moises Aldape and Valeriy Kobzarenko, and Bernardo Colex (Tecos de la Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara).

Sevilla's victory in the 74-mile (119 km) race makes him one of the favorites for Sunday's third and final leg of the Commerce Bank Triple Crown of Cycling, the Philadelphia International Cycling Championship. The 156-mile (251 km) race begins at 9 a.m. EST.
